
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Located about sixty kilometers south of Davao City, Dawis Pier in Digos, Davao del Sur was constructed in 1969. It was regularly used by the San Miguel Corporation catering to the shipment of its bottled products coming from Cebu City, until 1996 when the San Miguel Plant was put up in Darong, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

NAVIGATIONAL APPROACH
Much like other ports in the Davao Region, vessel approaching the Dawis port navigates through the Davao Gulf, leaning through the southern part known as Davao del Sur province.
ENTRANCE CHANNEL
Access to the Dawis Pier is similar to entry to ports within Davao City. It is along the coasts before reaching the Davao City proper, only a little farther down south.

ACHORAGE
No designated anchorage
FACILITIES AND FEATURES
One finger pier, two berths, 29m long x 14m wide with controlling depth of 1.5m.
The port facility has been non operational since 1996.
