
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
Malalag wharf is located in the municipality of Malalag in the southwest coastline of Malalag Bay, Davao del Sur, at a distance of 25 kms. from Digos and approximately 88 kms. south of Davao City.
It is geographically positioned at 6° 35' 30" north and 125° 30" east.

NAVIGATIONAL APPROACH
Approach for Malalag Wharf is through the Malalag Bay.
ENTRANCE CHANNEL
Vessels entering the Malalag port navigate through the southwest route of the Malalag Bay which is a tributary of the larger Davao Gulf waters.

ACHORAGE
Ships can anchor at a depth of 21 fathoms free of hazardous underwater obstructions/currents and is notably sheltered rom direct exposure to teh fury of the waves and surges from the open sea.
FACILITIES AND FEATURES
Reinforced concrete wharf for handling cane molasses, logs and other general cargoes for domestic trade.

- Fendering system is of clustered timber files distributed equally alongside the wharf
