GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION

Mabila port is located in Balut Island, one of the two (2) islands that comprise the Sarangani municipality. The proximity of Mabila to South Cotabato - Sultan Kudarat - sarangani - General Santos (SOCSKSARGEN) socio-economic bloc is a major reason why its trading and commerce are slanted towards Region-XII instead of Region-XI (Davao Region). It is about 3-4 hours away from Glan and about 4-5 hours away from General Santos City by boat or equivalent to 49.84 nautical miles.

ENTRANCE CHANNEL

Vessels coming from Davao Gulf and Sarangani Bay pass through the Sarangani Strait approaching towards Mabila Port.

ACHORAGE

No designated anchorage.
